Masjid Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, also known as ‘The Blue Mosque’. This mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks in the state and stands at an impressive height of 350 feet above ground. Its width measures 170 feet, and its unique blue dome is considered the largest in Southeast Asia. Traditional Malay design elements dominate the mosque's interior, while the dome and main prayer hall are adorned with intricate Islamic calligraphy. If you plan to visit, do take note to dress modestly, and female visitors will be provided with headscarves.
